Please note that the apartments are located in historical buildings, and that there is no lift and there can be noise.
Due to the layout of the city, guests may be required to climb a number of steps to reach their accommodation Guests who have mobility problems are kindly asked to inform the hotel of this when booking.

There are 2 additional discounted rooms located on top of an historic stairwell. They forgo the lounge and kitchen area and are for 2 people only. Feel the medieval atmosphere as you explore Edinburgh’s incredible history, starting with the enchanting walk up the 400-year-old stone stairwell with its 97 steps.

The Edinburgh Castle, Whisky Heritage Centre, Writers Museum, National Art Galleries of Scotland, Royal Scottish Museum, John Knox House and Many other attractions are all less than a 5 minute stroll away.

For the true Scottish experience why not pop down to the world famous Grassmarket area and enjoy some Haggis, Neeps and Tatties washed down the wee drum of Scotch whisky, whilst mingling with the friendly and jovial locals.

Dinning out in the Old town is a majestic experience with a restaurant tailored to every palate. Speak to the Concierge for a recommendation or a view menu from a selection of quality restaurants all within walking distance.

Shopoholics can pick up some souvenirs on the Royal Mile or head down to the shopping paradise of Princes Street and George Street, which are home to some of the worlds great stores including Jenner’s ( the Oldest departments store in the world), Harvey Nichols and many many more.

Golfers are spoilt for choice with 40 great golf courses all within an 1 hour radius from your Castle Apartment. The concierge will gladly offer a recommendation and even book you a tee of time.

From Edinburgh Airport to Queen Street:
- Exit Edinburgh Airport on to East Field Road.
- Follow signs for the city centre/ Edinburgh zoo.
- Go through Eastfield Road and turn left onto the A8.
- Enter Edinburgh carrying on Glasgow Road (A8).
- Go through the Drumbrae Roundabout and onto Saint John's Road (A8).
- This will become Corstorphine Road (A8).
- Turn right on the Roseburn Terrace (A8).
- Carry onto West Coates, which becomes Haymarket Terrace (A8).
- Turn left into Haymarket (A8) and carry on West Maitland Street.
- This becomes Shandwick Place (A8) which becomes Princes Street.
- Turn left onto South Charlotte Street (A90) which becomes Charlotte Square and then North Charlotte Street.
- Turn right onto Albyn Place and turn left into Queen Street. - We are at number 6 Queen Street (opposite end) on the right-hand side, next to the Jam House.

Alternatively, a taxi from the airport costs approximately GBP 20, and the air link bus costs approximately 5 GBP (return).
The airport bus departs every 15 minutes. Guests must disembark at the Waverly Bridge terminus (opposite Waverly Station). Reception and key collection is approximately a 7 to 10-minute walk from here.

Check-in and key collection for the apartments is at head office located at:
6 Queen Street, New Town, Edinburgh, EH2 1JE.

Please note that this is only the location of the office and that you will be supplied with the directions and keys to your apartment.

Late checkouts can be arranged prior to arrival or with the concierge at check-in. There are possible applicable charges per hour. The latest check-out time is 14:00.

There is also offer a complimentary luggage storage facility before and after check-out.
