Short description

Our hotel is located in York city centre, on the banks of the river Foss, close to the ramparts and business centre. Children stay for free at the Novotel York: book a family room for the price of a double/twin room.

The hotel features a restaurant, bar, heated swimming pool and a car park. Guests can relax in the hotel's swimming pool or enjoy dining in the Garden Brasserie. For children there is the Dolfi corner, including console games, the internet, children's channels and a Lego table and toys. There is also an outdoor play area for younger children.

Food and beverages

Breakfast is served from 06:00 until 09:30.
Lunch is served from 11:00 until 16:00.
Dinner is served from 18:00 until 22:00.

From Leeds (A64): Head towards York and take the A19 exit to York city centre.

From Kingston-upon-Hull (A1079): Head towards York, then take the A64 towards Leeds. Follow above directions.

From South: M62, M1 then A1 or A1 direct, exit A64 then A19 (Selby-York).

From North: A1, A64 then A19 (Selby-York).

From West: M62, A1 North, A64 then A19 (Selby-York).

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged GBP 36.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
