Short description

Ideally Located, just a five minute walk into York City Centre. A pretty riverside walk into the city centre.

On site parking, restaurant and bar. Please note that the evening meal service in our restaurant has been temporarily suspended but we will be providing a bar menu to be served in the bar each evening. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

A full English breakfast is freshly cooked by our resident chef and served in our bright and comfortable dining room. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift.

Room information

Single, budget double/twin, standard double/twin, family en-suite and Superior suites. Each standard room is stylishly decorated and luxuriously furnished. All standard rooms at the hotel are fully equipped with en-suite facilities, colour TV, direct dial telephone and well stocked refreshment tray. All rooms are non-smoking.

Food and beverages

The décor of this recently refurbished restaurant has a chic air with generous spacing of the elegant, streamlined tables and chairs. Infused with natural light from two rather grand bay windows and subtle overhead lighting, the inviting hues of cream walls and the blond wooden floor adds a touch of warmth amid all this fine taste. Attached to the Blue Bridge Hotel, Restaurant 39 is open to hotel guests and members of the public alike. The menu reflects this cross section of clientele and has been designed to cater for all needs to all taste buds and nationalities, including York residents. The result is an interesting combination of food which comes under the banner of Modern European cuisine and means that the traditional Yorkshire dish of Roasted Lamb Rump can be found beside more the continental choice of Fillet of Sea Bass with Pesto and Tomato Salsa. For after dinner drinks there's a small, funky wine bar tucked away in the Victorian cellars all red brick, original flagstones and plush leather armchairs which must surely help the digestion process. Area information

Like all really old cities, York is compact. No place is far from another and no place is hard to find. To get to the real heart of York you need to explore on foot. So leave your car in the hotels on site car park and then take a peaceful stroll along the banks of the River Ouse into the heart of York's centre.

Tourists information

From the a64 outer ring road, take the a19 South (Selby/York road) into the city centre. After about 2 1/2 miles you will see the Blue Bridge Hotel on your right.

Remarks

If the booking is not cancelled outside of the cancellation notice period, your credit card will be charged for the first night of your stay, if the hotel is unable to re-let the room.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds.
