Simon and Saiko welcome you to the Ravenswood Hotel, centrally located only 400 metres from Torquay harbour and town centre.

This is a B&B hotel, offering simple, clean, good value, non-smoking accommodation, plus an excellent breakfast, served in the dining room, with views over Torwood Gardens.

Room information

The hotel has a mixture of single, double and family rooms. All rooms are en suite, except for one single room. Guest rooms and facilities are compact and simple but clean and comfortable.

Food and beverages

Traditional English breakfast, served in the dining room. We have a Japanese restaurant, where authentic meals are prepared by the owner's Japanese wife. The restaurant is open evenings, Thursday to Sunday.

Area information

The location of the Ravenswood Hotel is superb, being adjacent to Torquay Museum and on the Agatha Christie Mile. A short walk of 400 metres takes you to the harbour, with its boats, restaurants, shops and Pavilion, or to the central shopping area in Fleet Street and Torquay's nightlife and theatres. Also within a 400 metre radius are over 30 pubs, cafes and restaurants, so you will be spoilt for choice when selecting something to eat. Torquay's blue flag award beaches are but a short walk away, and for the energetic, the south west coast path is a great place to walk and take in the scenery.

The nearest motorway is the M5.
- On reaching Torquay, follow signs for the harbour.
- Once at the harbour, turn left at the roundabout by Debenhams, into Torwood Street (signposted A379 Babbacombe). The hotel is 400 metres further on the left hand side.

Exeter Airport is 31 km away.

By Train:
Torquay railway station is 1.8 km away.

By Coach:
Torquay coach station is 2.5 km away.
