Standing within its own grounds with wonderful views across the bay, this family-run hotel will offer a relaxed, homely atmosphere from the moment you arrive.

The Nethway mainly caters for coaching holidays, whilst also warmly welcoming private guests. The rooms are well decorated (some have sea views and balconies), while the staff and food are second-to-none. A well-stocked bar is available for your enjoyment, while ample on-site car parking is also accessible.

Hotel information

The Nethway is a friendly, family-run hotel situated in its own grounds with spectacular views of Torbay and within walking distance of the beach, harbour and town centre.

The public areas and bedrooms (some with sea views and balconies) are well decorated and the Nethway Hotel prides itself on employing friendly and efficient staff to help you enjoy your stay.

Ample off-road parking is available and on most nights entertainment is provided for your enjoyment (subject to numbers). An outdoor swimming pool is a feature of the beautiful gardens, which are noted for being a gorgeous sun-trap during the summer months in Torquay.

Bus services into the town centre run from directly outside the hotel and during the summer season a service also runs to Cockington Village.

Breakfast is normally served between 08:30 and 09:15, but an earlier time can be provided if you need to make an early start. A 4-course evening meal is served at 18:30, so why not try English home-cooking at a reasonable price?

Area information

Torquay, Paignton and Brixham collectively forms the English Riviera, which is renowned for its unusually mild climate and beautiful coastline.

There really is something for everyone on the English Riviera from long days relaxing on the beach, sight seeing, shopping, coastal walks and days out at many of Torbay's popular tourist attractions.

The views across the bay towards the English Channel are stunning and Torquay is also an ideal base from which to visit Dartmouth, Totnes, Exeter and Plymouth.

There are a wealth of attractions here on the Riviera to suit the whole family. Even when the sun doesn't shine there is always something to keep everyone entertained.

Places to visit include Babbacombe Model Village, Paington Zoo, Living Coasts, Kents Cavern, Steam Railway, Bygones Museum and many, many more.

Tourists information

From the Penn Inn Roundabout at Newton Abbot:
- Take the exit onto Torquay Road and continue through the town of Kingskerswell.
- At the roundabout, continue straight ahead onto Riviera Way.
- Bear right at Newton Road (next to Torre Train Station) and continue onto Avenue Road.
- Take a sharp turn onto Falkland Road and the Nethway Hotel can be found on your right-hand side.

Remarks

The hotel does not accept single sex groups unless by prior arrangement. The Nethway is a non-smoking hotel.
