The Lindum is a family-run hotel providing a high standard of comfort and service in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

The hotel enjoys a superb position central to Torquay’s tourist attractions and, with its ample and secure off-road car park, provides an ideal base from which to tour the surrounding countryside.

This comfortable, family-run hotel enjoys a superb and envied position central to Torquay's tourist attractions. The fascinating hive of activity that is Torquay's harbour, with its restaurants, theatres and pubs, are all just a short walk away.

In a matter of minutes, you can be relaxing on the lovely wide beach of Abbey Sands or, just as easily, enjoying the bargain shopping available in this lovely seaside resort. In fact, there's no reason to use your car again until its time to go home!

For your relaxation, the hotel offers a comfortable TV lounge, an intimate residents bar and a sun lounge with adjoining patio for those lazy days.

The rooms, with en suite facilities, are spacious and well appointed, each fitted with convenient amenities.

All rooms have central heating and, for ease of access, all accommodation is situated on ground and first floors only.

Area information

The hotel is within easy walking distance of Abbey Sands Beach, the English Riviera Conference & Leisure Centre, the Princess Theatre, the Marina and the extensive shopping facilities of Fleet Walk.

The local bus service is very good and passes right by the hotel. With Torquay Rail Station only a short walk away, you can easily visit the surrounding towns by rail - it is inexpensive and a good alternative to buses.

Tourists information

By Car:
From Exeter or the M5:
- Follow directions to the seafront, taking either the Avenue or Belgrave roads.
- On reaching the seafront, turn left at the traffic lights.
- Staying in the left-hand lane, proceed straight up Shedden Hill to the intersection with Abbey Road.
- Lindum Hotel is straight ahead, but do enter the driveway slowly as it is steeply ramped.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
