A bright modern family run hotel, 300 yards from Torquay harbour. The hotel is light and airy. Decorated in neutral colours in a fresh modern style.

Andrew & Helen will make every effort to make your stay a pleasurable one. A small family run hotel means you will receive a friendly personal service with attention to detail at all times. The hotel is located on a road leading from the harbour, with steps up to the front reception and bedrooms arranged over 3 floors. All rooms have en-suite shower rooms, digital TV and hospitality trays. They are recently decorated and are fresh, bright and modern. Hotel Barton is ideally located only 300 yards from the harbour, town centre & beaches. The town has many bars, cafés and clubs to suit all tastes, and a wide variety of shops for those who require some retail therapy. A short walk away you will find the South West Coastal path and several beautiful beaches. The theatre is also within easy walking distance. Many local attractions are only a few minutes away including Torquay Museum, Living Coasts and Babbacombe Model Village. Hotel Barton is a non-smoking hotel, however smokers are welcome to smoke on the front terrace.

Food and beverages

Breakfast is served between 8.15 & 9.00am (earlier breakfasts are available by prior arrangement). Sit and relax in our sunny breakfast room. From a full English breakfast (veggie option available), to fresh fruit and cereal, we will try to make your breakfast a pleasure. We regret we do not serve lunch or dinner. Takeaway lunches can be made to order for a small additional charge.

Tourists information

By car:
- On reaching Torquay, follow signs for the sea front and harbour.
- Turn left at the sea, drive past the Princess Theatre, bearing left at the small roundabout.
- At the next roundabout (Clocktower roundabout by Debenhams) turn left into Torwood Street, which becomes Babbacombe Road (A379) after 100 yards.
- Hotel Barton is on the left hand side opposite Torwood Gardens, around 300 yards from the harbour.

Permits for the nearest pay and display car park are available free for guests at weekends and throughout the summer season. There is also plenty of free on-street parking, unlimited from 16:00 to 10:00, in front of the hotel.

Remarks

There is a 2.00 GBP handling fee charged for card payments.
We do not except large group bookings without prior discussion with hotel management.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free Private parking is possible on streets nearby.
