Possibly the best located hotel in Torquay. Situated in a quiet tree lined road, only a 5min walk to the seafront. Recently refurbished and upgraded to 4 diamonds. Close to Riviera Sports and Conference Centre and Railway station.

We are 100% no smoking. The Hotel stands in its own grounds and comprises three floors. The upper two floors are entirely accommodation and the lower floor has the dining room, bar, guests lounge, kitchen and access to the patio. The lower accommodation floor has level access for guests. This year we are introducing (all free of charge) internet access (WiFi) in all bedrooms, Digital free-to-view TV in all bedrooms, personal security box in all bedrooms and for those without their own computers we have an internet cafe available. We offer quality B+B in comfortable surroundings and most of our rooms are substantially larger than our competitors. However, our prices are comparable with many higher graded properties and yet we give so much extra. I'm certain that you will agree with many of our returning guests that the Glendower Hotel is the ideal place for exploring Torquay and south Devon.

Tourists information

Directions to glendower hotel from m5 (north): 1. Follow signs for Torquay until you see HALFORDS. 2. Move into the right hand lane and go through the lights. 3. Drive straight across the next set of lights. 4. At the next lights turn sharp left into Falkland Road. 5. We are the first major building (100m) on the left. In the summer the trees may conceal the hotel. You may park either to the front or right of the hotel. Parking is also available on the road opposite the hotel where there are no parking restrictions.

A credit card is required as a guarantee and the 1st night's accommodation charges are debited on booking.

Single sex groups taken without prior arrangement will be cancelled. Please contact the hotel directly for details. No single sex groups accepted June to August inclusive.

No children are accepted in double rooms.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged GBP 5.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged GBP 7.50 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 5.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
