Set in the heart of the Riviera, Crown Lodge is a great place to stay, offering well equipped comfortable bedrooms and a great choice at breakfast to suit all appetites.

The new entrance ramp at Crown Lodge means we are now able to welcome disabled guests (please view the room description of our luxury ground floor room for more details of disabled facilities).

Food and beverages

Breakfast (included in room rate) served between 08.00 and 09.30. A range of juices, fruit, cereals and yoghurts are available for you to help yourselves to. Choose your cooked breakfast according to your appetite on the day - from just eggs, to a full and generous farmhouse breakfast.

Area information

The English Riviera has so many places to visit and so many things to do and see, either in the bay itself or just outside, there is something for everyone.
Here are just a few.......Torquay harbour( for restaurants, cafes, bars, boat trips for sightseeing or fishing), Torquay theatre ( for a wide variety of shows, plays, concerts), Torquay town ( for more restaurants, bars, shopping), Kent's Cavern, Torre Abbey, Paignton Zoo, Quay West water park, Cockington historic Village,and numerous beaches and coves.
Just outside the bay is the beautiful national park of Dartmoor with its own special attractions such as Becky Falls and Haytor and many more picturesque landmarks.

Tourists information

From the M5 at Exeter, continue onto the A38. After approx. 3 miles, fork left onto the A380 signposted Torquay.
Stay on A380 through the outskirts of Newton Abbott and the village of Kingskerswell,until you reach the roundabout at the start of the A3022 (approx. 12.5 miles)
Follow the A3022 Riviera Way,straight over all the traffic lights for approx. 1.5 miles, until you can see Torre station and Halfords on the right. Move into the right lane for the approaching lights. Fork right ( signposted Paignton, Brixham & seafront). This is Avenue Road. CROWN LODGE is 220 yds on the left.

We do not accept single sex groups such as hen or stag parties.

Minimum night stays apply during busy periods.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children older than 9 years are welcome.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.
