The Bancourt Hotel is a family-run hotel, situated in Torquay in the heart of the English Riviera, just a short walk to the beach and shops.

The family and staff pride themselves on the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the hotel, but assure you of their personal attention at all times.

The Bancourt Hotel has an indoor heated swimming pool, excellent food, live entertainment, large private garden, well-equipped function room and bar, a dance floor, lift and friendly and dedicated staff. The hotel and all rooms are now non-smoking.

Tourists information

Coming into Torquay on the a 380 from Newton Abbot, follow the signs to the seafront. You will pass Torre Train Station and Halfords on the right hand side, take the road to the right, and the Bancourt is about half way down on the left hand side just before the Esso petrol station.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children from 4 to 15 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
All older children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: The total price of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in some hotel rooms and is free of charge.
