Almost all of the meat on the menu comes from my father's butcher's shop in Greatham County Durham, so not only do I know what farm the meat has come from, but it's also great to be able to use the family business. I'm a great believer in simple food, done well and with our menu, that's exactly what we've achieved. - Simon Stonehouse, Owner. Head chef, Arnoud Stevens comes from a Michelin starred background of well known restaurants. He has worked with some of the world's leading chefs including Pierre Koffman, Gary Rhodes and Raymond Blanc. His food is renowned for its quality and creativity, and it is this that sets him apart from his competitors. Parisian trained World Chocolate Masters runner up, Paul Gregory, creates the restaurants chocolates, ice creams and desserts by hand. With choices such as dark chocolate fondant with white chocolate ice cream, saving room for a pudding is compulsory. Due to high demand, we recommend booking tables in advance.
