Borough Market (0.4 km) - UK's best gourmet food market with stalls specialising in organic produce, delicatessen, cheese, wines, meats, game, fish and imported continental foods. Nominated by Londoners as their favourite place to visit.

Tate Modern (1.2 km) - UK's largest museum of modern art, housed in the impressive Bankside Power Station. Entrance to the permanent collection, which includes work by Picasso, Warhol and Dali, is free. It also holds world acclaimed temporary exhibitions as well as education programmes, activities and events.

Vinopolis (1 km) - Wine Tasting Attraction opened in 1999 to offer an entertaining tour of the worlds major wine producing regions. Located in the Victorian arches in the heart of Bankside, Vinopolis has now introduced the Still Room, a tasting experience dedicated to Scotch Whisky. Wine tasting packages are available.

Shakespearse's Globe Exhibition (1.2 km) is the world's largest exhibition devoted to Shakespeare and the London in which he lived and worked. Situated beneath the world famous Globe Theatre, the exhibition brings the playwright's world to life using a range of interactive displays and live demonstrations. A visit to the exhibition includes a guided tour into today's working theatre.

By Underground:
We are at Borough tube station on the Northern Line, which is one stop after London Bridge station. There is no need for a taxi as we are next door to the station entrance.

By Train:
The nearest mainline station is London Bridge. Waterloo station and the Eurolink are 3 stops away from the hotel.

From the airports:
- The Gatwick Express takes you straight to Victoria station.
- From here, take the underground (Victoria west line) to Stockwell Tube station.
- Change for the Northern Line northbound to Borough underground station.

The Heathrow Express takes you to Paddington station.
- From here, take the underground (Bakerloo southbound line) to Elephant and Castle tube station.
- Change for the Northern Line northbound (one stop only) to Borough underground station.

From Stansted Airport:
- Take the train to Liverpool Street mainline station.
- Change for the underground westbound Central Line to Bank station (one stop only).
- Change to the Northern Line southbound to Borough tube station (2 stops).

The following buses stop at Borough tube station: 35, 133, 343, P3 and C10.

Remarks

The reception is open till 22:00. Please call the hotel to arrange a late arrival.
There is no elevator in the hotel.
The restaurant is closed on Sundays. No breakfast is available on Sunday mornings. There is a wide choice of coffee and sandwich bars available in the area.

Any bookings made for a total of 4 nights or more need to be paid in full on the day of booking; this is also non-refundable and non-changeable.

Any bookings made less than 9 days before the date of arrival will be charged in full 2 days prior to arrival. This charge is non-refundable.
