The Athenaeum is a privately owned hotel on Piccadilly with timeless Green Park views. Athenaeum has a glamorous and contemporary new look, that is quintessentially English, but distinctly modern.

Facilities include a well appointed spa and hair salon, Damask restaurant serving essentially English cuisine, and the Whisky Room which boasts a selection of over 250 malts. Afternoon tea in the Garden Room is also a must. In addition to the 123 bedrooms, the Athenaeum apartments are housed in a row of Edwardian townhouses adjacent to the hotel, and are much-loved for their privacy by celebrities, business travellers and families alike. These well appointed stunning apartments have private street entrances, fully equipped kitchenettes and use of all the amenities and services of the hotel.

Damask restaurant offers an elegant and luxurious space in which to enjoy modern interpretations of traditional English cuisine, made from fresh, local products wherever possible. The Whisky Room, houses London’s most extensive collection of whiskies with 250 at the last count.

Athenæum offers stylish meeting rooms with state-of-the-art technology, including plasma screens and broadband access. Video conferencing can also be done in these first floor rooms. There is a private entrance with private dining.

Wedding breakfasts, intimate lunches, champagne receptions or even civil marriage ceremonies can all be hosted at the hotel.

Athenæum’s health and fitness spa is open exclusively to hotel guests, offering a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, a gym with personal trainer available and a treatment room. You can run in Green Park with the Athenæum jogging map. Tracksuits can be provided if required.
