Our hotel boasts 56 bedrooms and 13 suites finished to the highest of standards offering luxury and comfort in every area. Every conceivable last detail has been subtly included. Each room has been designed for comfort and convenience - from the discreet privacy hatches, which prevent room service intrusions and luxurious bathrooms to state of the art entertainment systems and handmade beds. The Scotsman Leisure Club features a health club and spa. A genuinely stunning 16-metre stainless steel pool set into a slate surround introduces our guests to Edinburgh's finest facility. The spa area offers what seems like a million ways to relax and refresh body, mind and spirit. We also offer guests a range of dining alternatives with two award winning restaurants. The Scotsman launched its new restaurant Vermilion in May 2002. This complements the North Bridge Brasserie, which has quickly established itself as one of Edinburgh's most popular venues. Vermilion, a classic rich red, is both vibrant and timeless - encapsulating all that is unique to the Scotsman Hotel.

The Scotsman Hotel is situated on Edinburgh's historic North Bridge, one minute's stroll from both Princes Street and the Royal Mile. It is also conveniently located next to Waverley Railway Station also one minute's walk away.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged GBP 45.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
