Kaimes Guest House is a Victorian Building, situated 15 minutes walking distance from Edinburgh city centre. We are close to the King's Theatre, Usher Hall, Edinburgh Castle and the famous shopping centre, Prince's Street.

We are ideally situated for you to see the sights of Edinburgh or enjoy the many clubs, pubs and restaurants that Scotland's capital has to offer. Here at Kaimes Guest House, you can be assured of quality accommodation combined with excellent service. The International Conference Centre is only a 5 minute walk from our guesthouse. We have 12 rooms which is a mix of family rooms, double rooms, single rooms and twin rooms. All rooms are beautifully decorated and most of them are en suite. All rooms have tea and coffee facilities, colour tv, hairdryer, shaver points, and iron on request. We offer a choice of a full cooked or continental breakfast. We have an excellent bus service, which runs directly outside from the guesthouse and takes you to most of the major attractions E.G. The Edinburgh Castle, Museums, The National Galleries, Holyrood Palace and the Royal Mile.

From Centre - From Prince's Street (garden side), take Lothian Bus No. 10 to Gilmore Place, which becomes Granville Terrace (please note that change is not given on Lothian Bus services). By bus - From Prince's Street (garden side), take Lothian Bus No. 10 to Gilmore Place, which becomes Granville Terrace (please note that change is not given on Lothian Bus services). By air - From Edinburgh Airport, take the airport bus to the city centre and get off at the west end of Prince's Street, opposite the Caledonian Hotel. Cross to the other side of Prince's Street (garden side) and take Lothian Bus No. 10 to Gilmore Place, which then joins Granville Terrace (please note that change is not given on Lothian Bus services). Alternatively, you can take a taxi from Edinburgh Airport to Granville Terrace. By rail - From Waverley Train Station, go onto Prince's Street. Remain on the same side as Prince's Street Gardens and take Lothian Bus No. 10 to Gilmore Place, which becomes Granville Terrace (please note that change is not given on Lothian bus services).

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All children from 3 to 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
All older children or adults are charged 75 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
