From the moment you walk in through the front door you know that you are going to be cosseted in luxurious comfort and excellent service. The welcoming hallway has comfortable armchairs beside a glowing fire, a chiming clock on the mantelpiece, and everywhere a real sense of quality and tradition. While near the centre of Edinburgh, the atmosphere is that of a charming townhouse.

Channings restaurant (is closed Sunday's and Monday's) and has been awarded two AA rosettes for its fine cuisine, whilst the vibrant Ochre Vita wine bar offers Mediterranean food and wines. The hotel is recognized for its superb food and real Scottish hospitality, this was proved when they recently won the 'Best Hotel in Edinburgh Award'.
