Short description

A friendly, family-run guest house on the seafront opposite the Pavilion Tea Gardens and Redoubt Fortress.

Clean and comfortable rooms, with either en suite or private facilities are available. Enjoy a cooked English breakfast with fruit and cereal every morning. Evening meals are also available from June to September (pre-booking required).

Unrestricted parking is possible on the roads around the guest house, whilst a small private car park is situated at the rear.

A licensed 'honesty' bar is also on-site. Bay Lodge regrets that it cannot offer facilities for smokers.

Hospitality trays with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities are provided for our guests comfort and independence.

Food and beverages

A 3-course evening meal is available in June and September, served at 18:00 - please book in advance.

Breakfast is served from 08.30 to 09:00 on weekdays, and from 08:45 to 09:15 at weekends.

Tourists information

A22 from London. In Eastbourne follow signs To The Seafront along A2021. At traffic lights junction of A259 go straight over. At T junction B2103 turn right, hotel on right 300 metres opposite the Pavilion Tea Gardens.

Remarks

Check in is from 3.00pm to 6.30pm, important: if you wish to arrive earlier or later than this you must ring to let us know.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 10 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged GBP 5.00 per night and person for cots.
Extra beds are not available.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas only and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free Public parking is possible on site (reservation is not possible).
