- Follow the A23 into Brighton.
- Follow Brighton/ Palace Pier signs until the roundabout in front of the pier.
- Take a left onto Marine Parade.
- At the first traffic lights (not pedestrian), take a left onto Lower Rock Gardens.
- Amherst is the 2nd building on the left.
