The Alvia Hotel offers visitors a warm welcome in a non-smoking, highly professional hotel. Being so perfectly positioned for all of Brighton's attractions, the Alvia Hotel's off-street car parking facility gives you the freedom to enjoy the city without the stress of driving.
Because we do not have 24hours reception the car when is parked has to stay in car park till departing date.
The recently refurbished Victorian building is situated in one of the most attractive areas of Brighton, Kemptown, and yet the Alvia Hotel offers a completely up-to-date service with all attendant facilities that the 21st Century traveller has come to expect. Whether it's champagne and chocolates, a workstation with Internet access and bookable guest lounge or simply a breakfast timed to suit your needs, the Alvia Hotel can supply more than mere sleeping accommodation. The recently-bestowed city-status seaside resort has a lively marina and many attractions for both adults and children. The famous Arts Festival in May attracts some of the world's finest performers and artists, but Brighton is bursting with theatrical and musical events all year round. There is always something happening in Brighton that you would not experience anywhere else in the world. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift.

Area information

The Alvia Hotel is ideally located just off the seafront close to the centre of Brighton with most of the major conference and meetings venues, including the city's major convention centre - the Brighton Centre, only a short walk away. The 2 Brighton universities (University of Brighton and Sussex University) the teaching hospital and other local businesses are easily accessible by local transport, and we are happy to arrange a taxi for longer distances.

Tourists information

Arriving by Train - We are approximately 20 minutes walk from Brighton train station, a taxi will cost around 4. Arriving by Coach - We are approximately 10 minutes walk from Pool Valley coach station. Arriving by Car - Take the a23 to Brighton, follow the signs for the sea front and Brighton Pier. When you reach the Pier roundabout, turn left onto Marine Parade. Lower Rock Gardens is the 11th turning on the left, which leads on to Upper Rock gardens. Cross the first set of traffic lights and we are on the right.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, the first night will be charged.
If cancelled later, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
Extra beds are not available.
There is no capacity for cots in the room.

Deposit Policy: 100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.
Continental breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs GBP 10.00 per day.
