The Urban Beach is a 12 bedroom boutique hotel, located just a few minutes walk from the beach.

The owner managed hotel offers luxury en suite rooms, WIFI access, DVD players, a bistro lounge and cocktail bar. Exceptional service is offered for business or pleasure stays.

Newly opened in 2006, now one year into a 3 year renovation programme of this Victorian building hotel. All rooms offer crisp white bed linen, fogarty down bedding, fluffy white towels, Giovani Milan toiletries, bath or shower rooms, flat screen TV. DVD's are available to view in the comfort of your bedroom from our complimentary library at reception.

For those of you whose exercise regime is an important part of your time away, and a run along the beach is not enough, we have teamed up with a local club to provide access to a fully equipped gym with over 100 pieces of cardiovascular and resistance equipment. Access to this facility is complimentary throughout your stay at the Urban Beach.

Tourists information

By car coming from the East take the m27, a31 then a338 signposted Bournemouth. Just after Bournemouth railway station, take first exit onto Saint Pauls Road signposted town centre. At roundabout take 2nd exit onto Saint Swithun's Road South. At roundabout take first exit onto Christchurch Road. After one mile at traffic light crossroads, turn right into Saint Johns road and second left into Argyll road. The hotel is the last building on the left hand side and offers both a car park and on street parking.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 4 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.
One child under 5 years stays free of charge in an extra bed.
One older child or adult is charged GBP 40.00 per night and person in an extra bed.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: A fixed amount of GBP 50 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.
Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms only and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.
Continental breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free Public parking is possible on site.
