When you choose the Chine Hotel for your next holiday, a family break, a romantic weekend or just time away from everyday stresses and strains, you really do get the best of a seaside town break. The hotel is only two minutes leisurely walk from miles of golden sand and a five- minute drive from Bournemouth town centre with its excellent shopping and entertainment facilities. The Victorian hotel is steeped in local theatrical history. Many great names in show business has stayed at the Chine, while walking the boards at one or other of Bournemouth's many theatres. The hotel has a charming wall of fame, which illustrates some of those stars of days gone by. On arrival at the hotel, you will be greeted by the amazing views from the dining room, which can been seen from reception. Many of the rooms boast such wonderful views over the treetops and out to sea. Note that not all rooms can be reached by the lift.

Food and beverages

The Seaview Restaurant is in one of the most charming rooms of the hotel with stunning views out over the treetops to Poole Bay and towards the Isle of Wight. The menu has achieved an aa Red Rosette for food and one meal in this delightful restaurant will illustrate to you why. Before you dine why not enjoy a drink in the cosy Cocktail Bar, next to a roaring fire? The menu has been carefully composed by head chef and includes fresh fish, meat and vegetarian delicacies. Dishes include grilled salmon, red wine risotto and tomato coulis, roast loin of beef with gratin potato and port wine, fresh pasta Provencal and Parmesan Guests may enjoy the ambiance of the Seaview Restaurant for lunch and dinner - room service is, however, always available.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged GBP 7.50 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged GBP 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
