Marlins Hotel is situated in a prime position on Bournemouth's popular West Cliff with ample off street parking. Ideally located only 2 mins walk from Bournemouth International Centre and the seafront with its golden sandy beach.

Tired of staying in large impersonal hotels? At Marlins we aim to be your home away from home. Our classic Victorian building was, in the 1890's the family home of Sir Dan Godfrey, founder of Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and retains many of its original features. Once you have stayed at Marlins you will want to come back again and again, many of our guests visit us 3 or 4 times a year, next time you visit Bournemouth come and find out why. Marlins is a non smoking hotel.

Hotel information

We are a small family run hotel close to the beach, town centre and BIC. Our aim is to provide a comfortable and quiet environment so that you can relax and enkoy your time with us. Our guests are mostly couples and families who enjoy our relaxed atmosphere, to ensure the comfort of our guests we do not accept stag or hen groups.

Room information

Marlins is an old Victorian house and all our rooms are therefore individual. The hotel is a large 3 storey building with rooms on all floors, if you would like a room on the ground or lower floors please advise us at the time of booking and we will try assist, subject to availability.

Food and beverages

Marlins Cafe is open from May to October, serving morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon tea.

Area information

We are very centrally postioned in Bournemouth, an easy walk from beach, town centre and BIC. If you are vsiting Bournemouth without a car we are ideally located for your stay.

Tourists information

approach Bournemouth on the A338 continuing until you come to the Bournemouth West roundabout. Turn here following the signs for West Cliff and Bournemouth International Centre, Marlins is situated on West Cliff Road where it joins Priory Road, just at the top of the hill that goes down to the Conferenece Centre and Pier

Remarks

We do not accept stag/hen parties or any other group booking unless agreed by telephone. Latest check in time 10.00pm. Children over 15 are charged at full rate.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free Public parking is possible on site (reservation is needed).

Pets: Pets are not allowed.
