A warm, friendly welcome is waiting for you, all year round, at the Wyvern Hotel. We are a 14 bedroom fully en-suited family run hotel, catering for couples and families.

Ideally situated adjacent to the Promenade, between the Central and South Piers. We are within walking distance of the Sandcastle Waterworld and Pleasure Beach. Close to all attractions Blackpool has to offer, making it the entertainment capital of Europe. The Waterloo Bowling Green, Blackpool Football Club, Casino, Pubs and Restaurants are all on the doorstep. Blackpool's historic and famous tram fleet can be readily accessed at the stop located at the end of Alexandra Road, less than a minute away.

Resident proprietors Trevor, Susan and family extend a warm and friendly welcome to all their guests and offer a professional service with good food, warm hospitality and cleanliness assured. We extend a welcome to business guests and conference delegates throughout the year. We have been awarded a 3 Diamond rating by the English Tourism Council.

Our grading was awarded to us for our high standards. We offer superior, clean, well maintained accommodation and services.

Tourists information

At end of m55, proceed onto Yeadon Way. By Car Signposted car parks, South Shore. As you ennter parking area, take first exit on right. You will exit onto Waterloo Rd, passing Aldi and Focus. Turn left onto Waterloo Rd and proceed to traffic lights. Turn right onto Lytham Road. Alexandra Rd is the fourtht turning on your left. We are situated towards the bottom of the road on your left. Train South Shore station is the nearest rail link, when available. Directions as above from Aldi. Train arrivals from Blackpool North will require a taxi. Airport arrivals will require a taxi.

Credit Cards will incur a 2% charge of the total booking.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged GBP 2.50 per night and person for cots.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: 25 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms only and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free Public parking is possible on streets nearby (reservation is needed).
