Only a few minutes walk from the South Pier and Blackpool Pleasure Beach, at the Viking the accent is on fun! The hotel will give you all you need for your holiday. Experience a fabulous 3-course dinner in our beautiful sea view restaurant and then take your seat for the 'Talk of the Coast'. We take our show business very seriously indeed and only the finest cabaret artists make it to our stage. During your stay you can also take advantage of our sister hotels' free leisure facilities.

Food and beverages

Dining at the Viking is an experience in itself. Our beautiful sea view restaurant opens daily for breakfast and dinner. Start the day with a full English breakfast accompanied by fruit juices, cereals and all the toast you need. Each evening our chef Andy, who has 20 years service with Choice Hotels, prepares a delightful 3 course table d'hôte dinner with plenty of choice at each course. For all day long snacks and beverages in pleasant surroundings, simply head for the Café Bar.

Area information

The Viking hotel is situated in the heart of Blackpool's busy South Promenade. It is a short stroll from the many shops and markets of Waterloo Road, where you can pick up a bargain or do some early Christmas shopping.

South Pier and Sandcastle Waterworld are almost opposite, while the Pleasure beach is a 15 minute stroll away.

Regular trams and buses run along the promenade taking you to attractions further afield such as St Annes and Fleetwood. For your convenience you can purchase your travel ticket from the hotel's reception.

Tourists information

By Car:
- Follow the M55 towards Blackpool; at the end you will come to a roundabout.
- Drive straight across onto Yeadon Way and continue across the 1st mini roundabout and past the Yeadon Way pub (on your left).
- At the 2nd mini roundabout turn right and at the 3rd mini roundabout bear left, continuing to the junction and turn left onto Waterloo Road.
- Heading down Waterloo Road, go straight across the traffic lights and continue until you reach the 2nd set of lights.
- At these lights turn left onto the promenade.
- The Viking Hotel is on the left towards the end of the second block.

Remarks

Credit cards must be presented at the hotel on check-in for full payment and credit facilities.

There is a 2 night minimum stay at weekends.

The hotel does not accommodate single sex parties.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel.
Extra beds are not available.
Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 2.
