Hosts Pete and Fiona look forward to offering a warm welcome to guests old and new at their comfortable sea front hotel.

Situated in a prime location on Blackpool North Promenade, the hotel overlooking the Irish Sea. Rockcliffe is situated just a few minutes' walk from Blackpool Tower, the theatres and shopping centre. We offer clean and comfortable bedrooms, all of which are en suite.

The Rockcliffe has a licensed bar which is open from 11:00 to 23:00 on weekdays and until midnight at weekends. On busier weekends, if there is sufficient demand, we run karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights from 21:00 to midnight.

Area information

The hotel is situated on the North Promenade which is the quieter area of town, but near enough to walk to the North Pier, Tower, Coral Island, Winter Gardens and Sea Life Centre. The trams stop directly outside and will take you to the Pleasure Beach in 15 minutes.

Tourists information

From the M55 motorway:
- Continue for the Promenade (clearly signposted), past the Tower and North Pier (with the sea on your left).
- We are half a mile north of North Pier. From North Pier you'll pass the Metropole Hotel on your left, the Revills and Royal York. We are situated between the Royal York and Tiffanys (big pink one).
- Pull into the car park and give us a wave to help you with your bags.

By train:
A taxi ride from the train station takes a few minutes.

Walking:
- As you leave the platform, turn right and exit the train station via the smaller exit by the parcels office.
- This brings you onto Dickson Road. Keep walking till you see a cafe named Xanders.
- Turn left onto the Promenade then right past Manhattan & Royal York Hotel. We are situated 2 hotels past Royal York.

By coach:
National Express coach services operate to and from Blackpool throughout the year.

From Lonsdale Road coach park (South Shore):
- Make your way to the promenade and catch a tram north.
- Exit the tram at the Claremont Hotel.
- Alternatively, you can take a taxi.

Talbot Road bus station is next to the train station. Follow directions above.

Blackpool Airport is about 6 miles away, from where you can take a taxi.

Remarks

As we are a family hotel, we do not accept same sex group bookings

Our car park holds 7 vehicles and the spaces are allocated on a 1st to arrive basis. During busier times, when our car park is full, there is free street parking nearby on a well lit main road. There are also 3 public car parks, 100 metres from the hotel.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 10 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas only and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.
