Short description

Our privately run 11-bedroom, licensed guest house is comprised of double, twin, triple and family rooms.

Because we are a family-friendly hotel, we operate in a non-smoking environment and are also pet friendly, so you do not have to worry about leaving your best friend behind.

We have a spacious TV lounge, where you can find board games, jigsaws, books and a pool table for guests’ use.

We accept bookings from couples, families and groups of up to 30 people.

Hotel information

We have a few TVs, hairdryers, an iron/ironing board and alarm clocks available for guests’ use (subject to availability). We have recently revamped the dining and bar area. Please note: we have steps to the front door of the hotel, and the dining area is downstairs.

We only accept families and couples for our midweek breaks (Monday to Friday). Couples, families and groups (hens, stags and football/rugby fans) are accepted at weekends.

Room information

We have 11 standard bedrooms, of which 2 are on the ground floor (one double and one triple). Ground floor rooms are available on request.

All our rooms have tea and coffee facilities and a sink. Towels are available on request.

Area information

Oakfield Hotel is located on Lonsdale Road, between Blackpool's central and south piers. It is close to the coach station and the main car park.

The football/rugby stadium, cinema and go-karting are within 2 minutes walk across the car park.

The seafront and promenade are a 5 minute walk away. Blackpool Tower and Pleasure Beach are 10 minutes' walk away.

Tourists information

By Car:
- Take the M55 juction off the M6.
- Follow the M55 all the way till you come to a roundabout (end of M55) go straight over the roundabout and straight over the next 2 roundabouts.
- Go straight over the traffic lights and turn left into the car park (signed Lonsdale Road car park). There is normally a height restriction on the car park entrance.
- Lonsdale Road is the only road exit from the car park and the hotel is based on the left hand-side, about half way down.

Remarks

All guests are requested to inform the hotel of their expected arrival time.

We take a GBP 10 returnable bond per person from groups.

Football and Rugby fans welcome.

For the comfort of our guests, we will not accept any people checking in after 22:00.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 20.00 will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.

Deposit Policy: A fixed amount of GBP 20 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: No internet access available.

Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: No parking available.

Pets: Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.
