The Holmsdale Hotel is a child free zone. This is a select, quiet, privately owned and run hotel, offering you quality accommodation in relaxing, informal surroundings.

The hotel offers en suite rooms and lift to all floors. We do accept young adults of 14 and over. We are ideally situated, just 50 metres from the promenade and minutes from theatres, clubs, shops and train/bus stations.

Our award winning hotel has 3-star Visit Britain guest accommodation rating. The Holmsdale is a smoke free hotel.

Every effort is made to make our guests stay as pleasurable as possible, with friendly personal service at all times and attention to every detail.

Hotel information

Our guest accommodation comprises twin, double and single rooms but no family rooms as the hotel cannot cater for children. All rooms are en suite and there is a lift to all floors.

Food is given top priority at the Holmsdale Hotel. Guests enjoy a wide choice of menus and appreciate the high quality of the house cuisine, with portions to suit all appetites. All our tables are set for 2 to allow you to dine in peace and privacy.

Both the TV lounge and sun lounge give guests the opportunity to relax, read the papers and meet new friends.

All our rooms are en suite and equipped with colour TVs, complimentary tea/coffee making facilities and central heating.

Area information

We are ideally situated just 50 metres from the North Shore promenade and 10 minutes' walk from the Tower. We are also only minutes' walk from the theatres, clubs, shops and train/bus stations.

Tourists information

From Blackpool Promenade:
- Head north along the the Promenade past the Tower and North Pier. After about half a mile you will come to the Claremont Hotel on the right.
- Turn right immediately after the Claremont. This is Pleasant Street. Cross over the mini roundabout and the Holmsdale is 30 yards on the left.

By public transport:
- The Holmsdale Hotel is a 5 minute walk or short taxi ride from Blackpool North railway station.
- Turn right after leaving the station and follow Springfield Road round to Lord Street.
- Follow Lord Street to the end and the Holmsdale Hotel is opposite.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel.
Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Public parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs GBP 3.00 per day.

Pets: Pets are not allowed.
