The former coaching inn was famously used as barracks for General Wade’s troops while building the nearby bridge to cross the River Tay in the 18th-century.

Aberfeldy Weem Hotel will be delighted to arrange any special requirements for your stay, such as champagne, chocolates, flowers, Madonna’s piper or a serenade. You can also have celebration cakes or, perhaps, a Scottish, continental or champagne breakfast in bed.

An 18 hole, par 68 course which runs on either side of the River Tay, with the unique attraction of allowing players to cross the historic river via its own private bridge.

Dewar’s World of Whisky and Distillery:

Tourists information

By Car:
- Follow the A9 (Perth to Inverness) to the A827 Ballinluig junction (20 miles north of Perth).
- Travel 10 miles west to Aberfeldy.
- Continue through the town centre and at the traffic lights turn right, taking the B846.
- Go over Wades Bridge into the village of Weem.
- The hotel is a short distance further on the right, by Castle Menzies.

Remarks

The hotel is completely non-smoking. However, smoking is allowed in our beer garden and tree terrace.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
